Below is a lovely story regarding 19-year-old Elise Packwood, who represents the England Deaf Futsal team. For those who don't know, futsal is an alternative version of football, with smaller sides, smaller goals and a smaller ball. It's very popular in South America as it encourages close ball control and skill. Many of the world's greatest ever footballers have their routes in futsal, such as Ronaldinho and Ronaldo Nazario.
Elise is autistic, suffers from memory impairment, learning difficulties and a speech disorder.
